Wondershare BlackBerry Converter Suite 4.2

Wondershare BlackBerry Converter Suite consists of a DVD ripper and a converter. Both applications were designed and optimized to help you convert your files for playback on various BlackBerry phones. Wondershare claims that all BlackBerry phones are supported, including the Blackberry Storm 2, Blackberry Bold 9700, BlackBerry Bold 9000, BlackBerry Tour 9630, and BlackBerry Curve 8900.

The suite uses a main window that acts as a launcher. This window has two buttons to launch the converter and the DVD ripper, and it provides some on-screen help regarding the process and the formats supported.

The DVD ripper has a video editor that can be used for basic effects. You can convert full movies or parts of them into MP4 files. There are conversion profiles with preloaded settings for a few devices, the rest should play any MP4 file just fine. You can of course choose what audio and subtitle track you want for your files.

The video converter is very standard, but it works well. The same formats are supported in both the ripper and the converter. There is also a basic video editor. You can expect both applications to work well.

If you regularly rip DVDs for playback on your BlackBerry phone and convert other file formats to MP4 to use on your phone, you will save some money purchasing the suite instead of the two separate apps.
